After the shoot, we send the unedited sample photos from the session (~200-300 shots) within 24 to 48 hours. Each sample photo will be numbered in the file name and the client informs us of which photos they want finely edited. After the selections are made, our editing turnaround is between 5 and 7 business days.
RAW FILE POLICY: We hold RAW photos for 2 months past the shoot date and edited RAW files for 1 month past final delivery. After this, they will be deleted. If selections are not made within 2 months of the shoot, we message the client informing them a week prior to deletion (we can give an extension if the client requests it).
To ensure nothing is lost, clients are encouraged to make their final photo selections as soon as possible after receiving the preview gallery.
The final JPEG images are stored and sent to the client via our Pixieset Cloud Service which do not expire and will not be deleted.
Additionally, we do not provide our clients RAW files as file sizes are extremely large and we don't believe they represent our work properly as photographers.
Fine Edits at Modu Studios focus on a natural, film-inspired look and do not include heavy face tuning or dramatic body reshaping. They include light skin smoothing, minor blemish removal, light body slimming, and color and tone refinement. Very subtle adjustments may be made upon request, but Fine Edits do not include major facial changes or body reshaping such as removing love handles or altering proportions. No, the payment does not include entry fees to the shoot location. Most places we shoot at are free to enter, however Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung Palace have a 3000 won entry fee (free if you are wearing a hanbok). Additionally, the client is responsible for paying for the photographer's entry fee.
Yes, absolutely! If you'd like to shoot at multiple locations or do an outfit change during the shoot, we recommend booking a 2 hour shoot. If you'd like to book a longer shoot (1.5 or 2 hours), please send us an email at modustudioskorea@gmail.com or a DM on instagram and we'll get in contact with you quickly.
Once you make your booking, we email you with the instructions of where to meet and we usually use instagram or whatsapp to communicate from that point forward. Meeting locations are usually subway station exits as they're easy to find and very accessible!
REFUND POLICY: The 30% deposit is non-refundable as dates are held exclusively for each client. We’re happy to transfer your deposit to a new date with advance notice, subject to availability. If you elect to pay in full, we offer full refunds (minus procressing fees) for cancellations made within 7 days of the photoshoot date.
If you can not make the shoot or want to move it because of bad weather, we try our best to reschedule to a more convenient date. Last minute full cancellations will not receive a refund.
LATE POLICY: We have many shoots, often having back-to-back bookings, so if the client shows up late, we likely will still need to end at the original time booked.
