How Much Do Seoul Photographers Really Cost in 2025?

If you're looking to capture your Seoul memories with a professional photographer, understanding the pricing landscape is essential. In 2025, Seoul offers a wide range of photography services, from budget-friendly options to premium experiences. At Modu Studios, our goal is to provide a balanced approach, delivering high-quality, cinematic photoshoots without the hefty price tag.

Budget-Friendly Options

Many photographers in Seoul offer basic packages starting around ₩100,000 to ₩150,000 (approximately $75 to $115 USD). These sessions typically include a short photoshoot with minimal editing. In our personal opinion, while these options are affordable, they often lack the depth and storytelling elements that many people are looking for, and the photos often come out quite basic.

Premium Experiences

On the other end of the spectrum, some premium photographers here in Seoul charge between ₩500,000 and ₩1,000,000 (about $375 to $750 USD). These packages usually include extended sessions, multiple locations, professional styling, and extensive post-production work. While the results are stunning, the cost can be a bit much for most people.

Why Modu Studios Offers the Best Value

At Modu Studios, we believe in providing a premium experience without the premium price. Our packages are designed to offer cinematic, K-drama-style photoshoots in iconic Seoul locations like Gyeongbokgung Palace, Euljiro, and Ikseon-dong. For example, our Couple Shoot package is priced at ₩225,000 (approximately $165 USD) for a 1-hour session, delivering up to 50 vintage-style photos, 10 finely edited images, and 2 Polaroid shots. We have a heavy emphasis on storytelling and our goal is to capture your moments in the city authentically and with a nostalgic flair.

We also offer Solo and Group Shoots, with packages starting at ₩175,000 (about $130 USD) and ₩300,000 (around $220 USD), respectively.  These packages include a generous number of edited photos and also include Polaroid shots as a bonus (Korean-style 서비스), ensuring you have plenty of memories to cherish. You can see our full list of packages here.

Client Testimonials

Our clients often praise our ability to capture authentic moments in beautiful settings, and absolutely LOVE our editing style. In her review, one of our clients Diana, shared, "I recently had the pleasure of shooting with Jack, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience and I am absolutely over the moon with the results! If you're looking for a photography service that specializes in capturing the charm and nostalgia of vintage styles with a kdrama vibes, look no further. Jack is highly professional yet approachable, making the whole experience enjoyable" (Link to full review)
